Delta Sigma Pi - Theta Rho
A Message from our President:
On behalf of the brothers of Delta Sigma Pi – Theta Rho, I would like to welcome you to our chapter website. Here you will find information on who we are and what we aim to do. It is my hope that you can get a sense of what it means to be a Deltasig at Duquesne.
Our chapter’s primary focus is to develop students into outstanding business professionals. To achieve this, we host over 10 professional events throughout each semester where brothers can connect with practicing professionals to gain insight into what a career might look like with the respective company. Recently, we have had firms such as Wesco, REMAX, On Par Now, and even the Pittsburgh Pirates attend our events! Brothers get to hear personal stories and advice from potential future coworkers and peers. These events enable brothers to interact with recruiters from these companies on a smaller scale; thus, the conversations are more personal and impactful. Professionalism is the forefront of Delta Sigma Pi. We aim for professional excellence in all that we do.
Service is another important part of Delta Sigma Pi’s identity. We believe that as outstanding business leaders we should have a positive impact on all aspects of our community. In the past we have partnered with Cards for Hospitalized Kids, Ronald McDonald House, Heros for the Homeless, and the Pittsburgh Zoo. Giving back to organizations like these allows for us to expand our impact beyond the business school. Community service is an essential part of Delta Sigma Pi – Theta Rho.
It is an honor to serve as President alongside these outstanding leaders. The brotherhood that we have created is unmatched to anything else you can experience at Duquesne. Being a brother in Delta Sigma Pi means that you are surrounded by goal-oriented people who are rooting for your success. Every brother has passion and drive to become the best business leader possible. It is this shared drive for growth that sets our brotherhood apart. Every brother can speak on how our brotherhood has helped them grow personally and professionally. I invite you to learn more about our chapter and brotherhood through our website, and I hope to see you at an upcoming event!
Best regards,
Sara Duclos - President
